Dear Christian - PLEASE - do not talk to anyone about Jesus . . .

. . . unless or until you start living as
Jesus said Christians should live.

Matthew 5:38-39
You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’
But I say to you, Do not resist an evildoer. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also.

Matthew 5:44
But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said to him,
“If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.

Mark 12:31
. . . You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
There is no other commandment. . .

Luke 6:27-35
But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. If anyone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from anyone who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again. Do to others as you would have them do to you. “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return.

Luke 18:22
When Jesus heard this, he said to him,
“There is still one thing lacking. Sell all that you own and distribute the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”

John 13:34-35
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Romans 12:14
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.

Romans 13:8
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

John 22:1
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

1 Corinthians 16:14
Let all that you do be done in love.

Galatians 5:14
For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment,
“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

1 Thessalonians 5:15
See that none of you repays evil for evil,
but always seek to do good to one another and to all.

Christian, until you are living your life the way Jesus commanded his followers to live, you should not even mention the name of Jesus to anyone - family, friends, co-workers, or strangers.
Christian, until you are living your life the way Jesus commanded his followers to live, you should not be offering biblical advice or Christian judgments concerning the morality of any individual or society.
Christian, until you are living your life the way Jesus commanded his followers to live, you should not attempt to employ biblical principles for chastisement or correction of your children, grand children, or any youth that you have authority over.

Many years ago, during a particular heated dialogue that I was engaged in with a hypocritical bible believer, my final comment to him was that he was "obviously a true Christian", to which he replied, "Thank you", to which I responded,  "Actually, that was not meant as a complement ".

What a different world we would live in if the followers of Jesus, followed Jesus.
